Method
- Using a mandolin slicer, slice the sweet potatoes into very thin slices.
- Soak the slices in cold water for 20 minutes to remove the additional starch from the potatoes.
- Remove them from the water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Toss the air fryer slices in the olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Lay the slices in an even layer in the air fryer.
- Cook at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp.
- Remove from the air fryer and repeat until all of the sweet potato slices are used.
Notes
- Storage: Store leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. They’re best enjoyed fresh!
- Freezing: While best fresh, you can freeze raw chips for future cooking, just remember to thaw before air frying.
- Pairing: Serve these chips with guacamole, salsa, or even homemade hummus for a delicious snack platter.
- Make It a Meal: Use these chips as a topping for a salad or as a side with your favorite dish.
