Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 chicken cut up

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan and add garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, EXCEPT chicken. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Heat grill to medium and lightly grease the grates. Place chicken on grill and cook for 30 to 40 minutes, turning occasionally.
  4. Baste chicken with sauce. Continue to grill and baste with sauce every 5 minutes for 15 more minutes. Serve with any leftover sauce.
