  1. Start by preparing the marinade. In a mixing bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and ranch dressing. Stir well until fully blended. This mixture will infuse your chicken with delicious flavors.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator. Ideally, let it sit for 4 hours, but if you're short on time, even 30 minutes can work.
  3. After marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. This is crucial for achieving those beautiful grill marks and sealing in the moisture.
  4. Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade, allowing any excess sauce to drip off. Discard the leftover marinade to avoid cross-contamination.
  5. Carefully place the marinated chicken on the grill. Grill for approximately 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF. Keep an eye on them to avoid flare-ups, and use tongs to flip them gently.
  6. Once done, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring each bite is tender and juicy.
  7. Slice the chicken breasts and serve with your favorite sides. You can even drizzle some extra BBQ sauce on top for added flavor.
