Ingredients

  • 12 pack Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 medium rotisserie chicken, meat pulled off
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.25 cup buffalo sauce
  • 0.25 cup ranch dressing homemade is delicious!
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Oven
  • Cutting Board
  • Frying Pan
  • Chef's Knife
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. This ensures that the sliders bake evenly. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray, making it easy to remove the sliders once done.
  2. Using a large serrated knife, slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half all at once, separating the tops from the bottoms. This keeps the rolls intact and makes assembly easier.
  3. Place the bottom layer of rolls into the prepared baking pan, cut side up. This will hold all the delicious filling.
  4. In a large bowl, add the shredded rotisserie chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well until everything is combined. The mixture should be cohesive and flavorful.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the rolls. This layer of cheese will melt beautifully and add richness to the sliders.
  6. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the top of the cheese. Make sure to cover the rolls generously, so every bite is full of flavor.
  7. Sprinkle the diced celery over the chicken mixture. This adds a refreshing crunch and a pop of color to the sliders.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. This second layer will melt and create a gooey, cheesy topping.
  9. Finish by placing the other half of the rolls on top. The sliders are now ready to be brushed with a buttery mixture.
  10. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and ranch seasoning together. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the rolls, ensuring every corner gets a bit of flavor.
  11. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  12. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Cut into individual sliders. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • To decrease spice: Reduce the buffalo sauce to 1/4 cup and increase ranch dressing to 1/3 cup.
  • To increase spice: Add 2-3 teaspoons of your favorite hot sauce. You can also add 1-2 teaspoons of cajun seasoning.
