Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds Ground Chicken
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Panko Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Curry Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 cup Onion
  • 1 packet Indian Butter Chicken Seasoning
  • 1 15-ounce can Tomato Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 serving Fresh Cilantro for Garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and spray a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Gently mix all meatball ingredients together in a large bowl. Shape into meatballs a little over 1-inch in diameter. Place meatballs on prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake meatballs for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Add butter chicken packet, tomato sauce, and cream. Bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes and then add the meatballs. Turn to coat them in sauce and simmer long enough to heat the meatballs.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and serve.

Notes

  • Use the Right Chicken: For best results, do not use chicken that is leaner than 93%.
