Ingredients

  • 6 small chicken nuggets I used Just Bare Chicken Nuggets
  • 1 large tortilla
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 4 pieces lettuce
  • ½ medium Roma tomato diced

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Oven
  • Cutting Board
  • Skillet
  • Chef's Knife
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees. You can also use a conventional oven if you prefer. This step ensures that your chicken nuggets will be perfectly crispy.
  2. Place the chicken nuggets into the air fryer basket and cook them for about 6 to 8 minutes. If using the oven, follow the package instructions for baking until golden brown and heated through.
  3. While the nuggets are cooking, grab a small bowl and add the Dijon mustard, honey, and plain Greek yogurt. Mix these ingredients together until well combined. This sauce is what ties all the flavors together!
  4. Once the chicken nuggets are done, remove them from the air fryer or oven. Allow them to cool for just a minute. Then, take your large tortilla and lay it flat on a cutting board.
  5. Center the cooked chicken nuggets in the middle of the tortilla. Drizzle the honey Dijon sauce over the nuggets generously.
  6. Next, add the lettuce and diced tomato on top of the chicken nuggets. This is where you can customize the wrap to your liking!
  7. Now, fold in the sides of the tortilla over the filling. This is important because it helps keep everything inside the wrap when you roll it.
  8. With the sides folded in, scoot the filling closer to the bottom edge of the tortilla. This positioning makes it easier to roll it up tightly.
  9. Starting from the bottom, tightly roll up the tortilla until you have a burrito shape. Make sure to keep the filling tucked in as you go!
  10. Once rolled, slice the wrap in half on a diagonal. This not only makes it easier to eat but also looks inviting!
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy your Chicken Nugget Wraps with extra sauce on the side if you like!

Notes

  • Tip 1: The honey Dijon mustard sauce is optional. Ranch, BBQ sauce, or your favorite dressing can easily be swapped for what you like.
  • Tip 2: I based the nutrition on the Just Bare Chicken Nuggets I used in the recipe. Nutrition may vary based on the brand you choose to use.
  • Tip 3: 5 to 6 small chicken nuggets from Just Bare is about the right size, or about 3-4 ounces of chicken nuggets.
