Chicken Parmesan Crescent Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 8 pieces breaded chicken fingers I used frozen Tyson crispy chicken strips
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese cut in half
  • 1 can crescent rolls 8-oz refrigerated can
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ºF.
  2. Separate the crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  3. Pour the spaghetti sauce into a bowl or saucepan.
  4. On each crescent roll triangle, place one half slice of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Dunk one of the strong>chicken fingers into the spaghetti sauce, ensuring it's well-coated, and then place it on top of the cheese.
  6. Roll up the crescent dough from the wider end to the tip.
  7. Place each rolled crescent on a cookie sheet.
  8. Sprinkle each roll with garlic powder.
  9. Bake for about 15 minutes, until golden.
  10. Remove from the oven, top each crescent with remaining mozzarella cheese, and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes.

Notes

  • I use frozen Tyson chicken strips: They do not need thawing, and they cook while the rolls bake.
  • You can use any fried chicken fingers: Any brand will work well, so use what you have.
  • My favorite spaghetti sauces: I love Trader Joe’s, Carbone, Rao’s, and La Famiglia DelGrosso.
  • Cheese Options: Variations like cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack can all work well.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
