- Combine all ingredients in a dish: 1 tablespoon kosher salt, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 teaspoons brown sugar, 1½ teaspoons ground paprika, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, and ½ teaspoon smoked paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning over your chicken before cooking, using about 1 tablespoon of seasoning per pound of chicken.
