Method
- Start by gathering all your ingredients: sliced peaches, whipping cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla, and cornstarch. Make sure your peaches are ripe for the best flavor.
- In a blender, combine all the ingredients. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the blender if needed to ensure everything is well combined.
- If you find the mixture too thick, add a bit more whole milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired pourable consistency. You want it to be smooth but not too runny.
- Take your popsicle molds and pour the mixture evenly into each cavity. Use a funnel if necessary to make this step less messy. This will help you avoid spills and get a clean fill.
- Once filled, place the molds in the freezer. Allow them to freeze for about 4 to 6 hours. You can leave them overnight if you wish to make sure they are thoroughly frozen.
- To remove the popsicles from their molds, run a little warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds. This helps to loosen the popsicles without breaking them.
- Enjoy your homemade Creamy Peach Popsicles immediately! They’re perfect for a hot day or any time you need a sweet, refreshing snack.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. They should keep well for up to a month, but they’re so good, I doubt they’ll last that long!
- Get creative with your popsicle molds. You can experiment with different shapes and sizes for a fun twist!
Notes
Tip 1: To keep your peach popsicles from turning out icy, add cornstarch. This will help keep the pops from becoming super icy and help them stay creamy.
Tip 2: Use a funnel to fill your popsicle molds. This was a game changer for me. My most recent set came with one and I will never make my frozen treats the same again.
Tip 3: Serving sizes will vary. Popsicle molds come in all shapes and sizes. I typically get 8-10 popsicles based on whether I use frozen or fresh peaches.
Tip 4: For a stronger orange color, you can add a touch of food coloring. The white of the milk and the peaches mix to make a pale pastel orange.
