- Preheat your oven to 400°F (or reduce to 375°F if using a dark pan). Grease a 12-cup regular muffin tin with nonstick spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine pancake mix and water until just blended. Stir in the cooked sausage, maple syrup, and cheddar cheese until evenly distributed. Use a 3-tablespoon portion scoop to divide the batter into the prepared muffin tin. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm.
