  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Fine-Grain Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Full-Fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil can substitute melted butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/4 cup Water

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease an 8×8 baking pan with nonstick spray or vegetable oil.
  2. To a large mixing bowl, add the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together until fully combined.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt, vegetable oil, egg, and water. Whisk until well-combined but do not over-mix.
  4. Pour the cornbread batter into the greased baking pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake until golden brown on top, about 25 to 35 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
