Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • Seasoning of Your Choice
  • Hamburger Buns
  • Condiments (Ketchup, Mustard, and Mayonnaise)
  • Fresh Lettuce
  • Fresh Sliced Tomato
  • 4 slices Cheese (optional for cheeseburger)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Lightly grease an ovenproof skillet or baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions.
  4. Shape each portion into a patty using either a patty shaper or your hands.
  5. Place the patties in the cast iron pan.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and separate the burgers.
  8. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty and return to the turned-off oven. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  9. Place each burger on a bun. Top with your favorite condiments, lettuce, and tomato slices. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Tip: You can assemble burgers with cheese, place them in a bun, and wrap them with aluminum foil. This will trap the heat and melt the cheese in just a few minutes without putting them back in the oven.
