Ingredients
  

  • 2 heads Romaine lettuce cut or torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pint Strawberries sliced
  • 2 Green onions sliced
  • 1 cup Purple seedless grapes sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts or pecans optional
  • 1 Tbsp Dry Italian dressing
  • 3 Tbsp Orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, mix the romaine lettuce, grapes, strawberries, green onions, and optional nuts.
  2. In a pint-sized jar, add the orange juice, rice vinegar, and sugar. Shake and let sit so the sugar can dissolve.
  3. After a few minutes, add the dry Italian dressing and vegetable oil, and shake again.
  4. Pour over individual servings of salad.
